What are Comdex Rankings?
There’s more to selecting the best product than which company offers the highest rate or most income. Financial strength of an insurance company is another important factor to consider to ensure the company will be able to back the product they’re selling. Six rating agencies review the financial strength of insurance companies. Some insurance companies are rated by many agencies, while others are only rated by one.
Comdex takes the percentile an insurance company ranks for each agency that reviews them, and they assign a number based on the average percentile of all rankings. As an example, an insurance company rated by 3 agencies at 75, 70, and 65 would have a Comdex score of 70. This means they rank higher than 70% of all insurance companies.
